J, here's that recipe as per your request. Our family used to drink lots of this especially before Zuka Juice showed up. I don't see the Orange Julius franchise around any more.
6 ounces orange juice concentrate
1/3 cup powdered milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tray ice
Whiz all ingredients in blender. Serves six.

Back in the 70s they used to let you order Orange Julius with a raw egg in it. That was before people were so concerned about salmonella. Maybe that's why you don't see Orange Julius stands around any more.
